How do I synchronize My Favorites between my Desktop and Mobile Device?

Synchronizing your Favorites is very straightforward once you have successfully activated your copy of Code-X and registered for your Cloud Account inside the Code-X application.  If you haven't registered for a Cloud Account yet to create your password to login to the mobile applications, then please read the FAQ entry below that addresses this issue:

Once you have successfully activated Code-X and registered for a Cloud Account please follow the steps below to setup synchronization:
Mobile Application Sync:
1. If you are synchronizing your Favorites data from the mobile apps, you can synchronize both items from the Tools/Settings tab by tapping the "Sync Faves" button. 
2. If you want your data to sync automatically then toggle the "Toggle Auto Sync On/Off" button from "Off" to "On"
3. To sync My Favorites, open up the Favorites tab and tap the Sync button for iOS or select "Sync Faves" for Android

Desktop Application Sync:
1. To sync your Favorites, open up "My Favorites Management" from the left-hand navigation bar. Under the "My Favorites" tab click on the "Sync" button
Please Note:  There is currently no automatic sync option for the desktop, so please follow the steps above to manually sync when you need to update your sync data.

Our Cloud server serves as the intermediary sync point for the mobile apps and desktop application.  Therefore, it is possible for you to sync across multiple mobile devices by logging into the mobile application on each mobile device with the same username and password.  To sync across multiple desktop installations, you need to be logged into Code-X using the same PC/Network username on all of those devices.  If you use different PC/Network usernames for the same licensed user on each workstation, then you will only be able synchronize from the same desktop installation where you originally registered for the Cloud account.
